Deep purple flowers 12-16cm, tepals ovate, overlapping x6-8, anthers rich red. (xB) Spring and autumn flowering. The name 'Edomurasaki' means 'Old Edo Purple', Edo being the old name for Tokyo. The colour refers to the deep reddish-purple which was favoured as the high society colour during the Edo era (16th Century - 1868).

Flowers pale blue with darker bar and red anthers,tepals x8, 12-15cm dia. Compact growing, makes it ideal for container. (xB) Spring-autumn. Attractive seed heads!

Large lavender-blue flowers. The centres of the tepals fade to paler blue with deeper blue veining. Contrasting centre of white filaments with purple anthers. (xC) 'Ekstra' translates as 'special' in Estonian and Swedish. Parent's name means "The silver glittering stream".

Moderate vigour. Flowers rich lavender purple, tepals x6-8, broad and overlapping. Anthers reddish purple. (xB) Late spring to early autumn. Cut flower! Very long season and nice.

Large violet blue flowers with deeper bar. Short pointed tepals create a distinctive appearance. This free-flowering cultivar is one of the best for growing in a container. Spring and autumn flowering. (xB)

Flowers deep purple, anthers cream. One of the most free-flowering hybrids, so abundantly prod. It’s almost obscuring the foliage. (xC) Summer-autumn. Tepals x6, making a nice rounded appearance; 10cm. If you have more than 3 Clematis in your garden, this one should be one of them.
